KATHRYN KASSAI, Physical Therapist, is the founder and director of Praxis Physical Therapy in San Pedro, California.  The University of Delaware granted her a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1978.  Since 1996, Kathryn has specialized in pelvic floor rehabilitation, a highly effective (but not well-known) specialty within physical therapy for urinary incontinence, organ prolapse, and pelvic pain.  Praxis has been independently rated FIRST in patient satisfaction nationwide, and Kathryn’s 90% success rate with thousands of incontinent patients was a strong reason for this high ranking.

Kathryn was selected to join the USC Medical Center’s Pelvic Floor Multi-Disciplinary Team, a group of physicians from all specialties who discuss treatment for their most challenging patients.  As a sought-after expert in her field, Kathryn has been featured on local and national television.  She frequently comments on research papers and topics relating to pelvic floor dysfunction in national media briefings.  She is a certified ergonomic specialist and a professional member of the Women’s Health Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Association for Continence.

Through her proven home treatment plan, presented in THE BATHROOM KEY, Kathryn is determined to get women and men out of the (water) closet and into the tranquility of pelvic floor health… free of incontinence and pad dependency.
